Scholarship Programs
We are thrilled to offer 2 types of scholarships available for returning students:
Merit Based
Teachers decide on one leveled student per discipline to be awarded that class FREE the following year school year (8 months). Available disciplines:

Merit Based
Teachers decide on one leveled student per discipline to be awarded that class FREE the following year school year (8 months). Available disciplines:
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
- Acro
- Contemporary
Need Based Scholarship Eligibility
- Returning LDA student
- Funded by consignment sale profits (approx. $1,000/year)
- People can choose to donate to consignment OR receive a $5 credit when turning in an item
- Funds will start the year with a pool (from previous years’ consignment sales), and once exhausted will be no longer available
- Any left over funds will roll over into the next year
- Funds can be used for tuition fees for current LDA students
- Funds can be applied toward up to 50% of tuition payments* for any given session (summer, camps, or regular season). For example, participants owing $50 for a workshop could now pay $25. Participants owing $40 for monthly tuition would now owe $20 monthly for the remainder of the season.
*Number of classes eligible per discount per family depends on number of applicants. We anticipate a limit of 2 scholarshiped classes per family.- Cannot be applied toward dancewear, merchandise, costumes or Registration Fee
